Heartland International Business Index

Mr. Fred Baehner, in cooperation with Creighton University of Omaha, Nebraska, designed the Heartland International Business Index. Its goal is to promote the international trade viability of the nine Heartland states of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. It also serves as a real-time leading economic indicator of international trade in the Heartland.
